1 kg butternut
2 tsp nutmeg (10 ml)
1 tbsp cumin (15 ml)
7 cups boiling water (1 3/4 litres)
Lemon juice and pepper to taste
Chop all your veggies
Bring to boil the veggies, apple, spices and the water
Simmer for 30 minutes
Remove from heat
Blend till smooth
Return to pot and flavour with lemon juice and black pepper
Heat through and serve
